Sep 3, 2010 - I dont know why all you guys are compaering bruce lee and david carradine.it is not relevent here. why cant you talk about this great great epic tv serious.
of course if you are not Buddhist you may not be able to understand the real essense of this show. been a buddhist i can say i am amazed how david carradine interpret some highly idealistic buddhist philosophies very iffectively.
but all credit must go to the director of this wonderful wonderful tv series.

I never liked this show. i always wondered why it was a boring white guy. My dad used to love this and made me watch it. i always fell asleep cuz it was almost as boring as star trek next generation. if it was lee it would have kicked major ass! racist media sucks

The facts are that Hollywood of the 1960s and 1970s were not comfortable giving a starring role to an Asian man so they settled on David Carradine. This role was written for Bruce Lee but Holly wood was scared to go with him.
