In the 80s the guys from IBM told Microsoft "it's the hardware, not the software" and that's one of the greatest mistakes in computer history. A computer is as good as the software that's on it, it doesn't matter if the case is not plastic or anything. A MAC was designed to run Apple software, however that is getting better. A PC can run much more software (both OS and apps).
